U21 Champions

What a day the club had on Sunday.  A two point win in the Under 21 c-ship final over Loughmacrory in a tense struggle played in Healy Park as the curtain raiser to the Tyrone senior final.  Jubilant scenes greeted the final whistle as the game finished 2.12 to 1.13 and earned the Galbally Captain Daniel Kerr the honour to lift the Grade 1 under 21 Championship cup in front a large Galbally support. 
The Galbally team lined out as follows:  Enda Mc Aleer, Darragh Corrigan, Conor Quinn, Marc Lennon, Conor Donnelly, Seamus Og Mulgrew, Dylan Mc Veigh, Enda Mc Garrity, Cormaic Donnelly, Caoimhin Quinn, Ronan Nugent, Mark Donnelly, Conor Donaghy, Daniel Kerr, Liam Rafferty.  Subs: Cathal Kelly, Colm Mc Aleer, Conn Bowman, Conor Kelly, Shea Hurson, Darragh Traynor, Mark Quinn, Ronan Nugent, John Hanna, Kieran Holland, Oisin Mc Gee, Colin Campbell, Ryan Hagan, Tiernan Loughran. 
Under 21 management: Kevin Kelly, Paddy Tally & Larry Murphy. 
Galbally Scorers: Liam Rafferty (1-03), Daniel Kerr (1-03, 0-1f) Conor Donaghy (0-3f), Mark Donnelly, Ronan Nugent and Enda Mc Garrity (0-1 each).

Ballad Group
The clubs Ballad group have made it through to the next round of the Scor Na Og after a beautiful performance singing Suil a ruin & the ferrymen on Sunday evening in the Patrician hall Carrickmore.  The girls involved in this group are Maire Mc Elhone, Cara Quinn, Niamh Rafferty, Katie O Neill, Kayleigh Loughran and are mentored by our cultural officer Mairead Hurson.  Well done to everyone.

Club Lotto
Last week’s connect 4 lotto numbers were 12-7-15-13 with no jackpot winner, the lucky dip winners each winning £20 were Aquin Rafferty, Stephen Mc Gee, Carla Murphy, Martin Mc Crory & Margaret Mc Veigh.  The jackpot now stands at 4K and the next lotto draw takes place on Tuesday 24th October at 9pm in the clubs committee room.  The club requires additional lotto sellers so if you would like to get involved in helping the club out with this please contact any committee member.

Club Shop
The clubs shop has new club gear arriving early November, once arrived we plan on opening up our Christmas club. Please keep up to date with our club facebook for further details.  The shop will be open on Friday evening from 7.30pm to 8.30pm sharp.

Upcoming Events
The club have agreed to host the Tyrone Scor Na Og final on Sunday 19th November and the Ulster Scor Na Og semi final on Sunday 3rd December.  Hosting these events requires help so if you can help the club out please get in contact with the club chairman or secretary. 
A local charity Galbally Friends Fund is hosting the Zone on Saturday 28th October in Galbally Community centre.  If you would like to get involved and be in with a chance of winning 1K please get in contact with Pauline Bowman.
