Club na Piarsaigh

Club Shop
Our Club Shop will be closed this Friday night but will reopen on Friday 21st April from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.

Vetting
We would encourage all our members who are actively involved in our club to complete the Access NI Vetting Form.

Club Wear
As our season is underway for most of our teams it is important that our players represent our club with pride.  We ask that every player comes ready for each match with the correct gear:
Galbally Jersey (U8/10’s only), Galbally White Crested Shorts, Galbally Blue Club Socks, Gloves (if required), appropriate outerwear.  These are available to purchase in our club shop on Friday nights (between 7.30pm & 8.30pm) and during Senior Men matches.

Senior Men
Hard luck to our Senior & Reserve Men who lost to Errigal Ciaran in Pearse Park on Sunday afternoon.  A tough battle and our seniors were unfortunate to lose by 1 point.  Final Score:- Galbally 0-09 Errigal Ciaran 1-07.  Next up is away to Ardboe on Saturday afternoon at 4.30pm & 6pm. 

Minor Boys
Our Minor Boys are away to Dungannon on Wednesday 12th April at 7pm.

Minor Girls
Training continues this week on Wednesday.  Hard luck to our Minor Girls on Monday night after travelling to Badoney loosing their first game of the season.  Next up for our minor girls is their last league match of 2017 at home to Ardboe on Tuesday 25th April at 6.45pm.

U14 Boys
Well done to our U14 boys on Saturday on their win against Cookstown in Pearse Park.  Team & Scorers:- Padraig Quinn, Darren Clarke, Eoghan Carberry, Conal Quinn, Owen Dickson, Anton Quinn, Dara Hetherington, Sean Hughes (1-00), Senan Morgan (1-00), Cormac O’Donnell, Matthew McCool (1-00), Ryan McElroy, Conor Kane (0-02), James Donnelly (2-05), Joseph Corrigan (1-00).  Final Score:- Galbally 6-7 Cookstown 5-06.  Next up is away to Coalisland on Saturday 22nd April.

U14 Girls
Our U14 Girls are playing in their rescheduled Feile Competition in Garvaghey on Wednesday 12th April at 6.30pm.

U10 Boys
Training continues this Thursday evening for our U10 Boys (Primary 5 & 6) from 7pm – 8pm.   Well done to our U10 boys in their first blitz of 2017 in Donaghmore.  A fine display of football from everyone.

Pearse Og Programme
Our Pearse Og Programme came to a conclusion last Thursday night. 

We will be resuming training after Easter for our U6, U8, U10 & U12 Boys and Girls.  Keep an eye on Facebook / Twitter for an update on training times / dates. 

Club Lotto
No Jackpot Winner.  This week’s numbers (Tuesday 11th April) were: 16, 6, 14 & 10.  Our 5 lucky dip winners winning £20 each were:  Paddy Kelly, Marie Rafferty, Cahir Quinn, Caitlin McCrory & Ann McAleer.  Next week’s jackpot returns to £2700.  Next Draw takes place on Tuesday 18th April at 9pm.  If you need a lotto seller to call to your home, contact any committee member or alternatively tickets can be purchased in Tally’s Mace or Donnelly’s Post Office.  Lotto is an essential source of income for the club & your continued support is greatly appreciated.

Galbally Friends Fund
Galbally Friends Funds has recently been set up as a charity that will serve the Galbally area to provide support to those living with a palliative diagnosis or with complex health needs.  A Spinathon Fundraiser has been organised on 15th April – please contact Paddy on 077 1088 3125 if you are interested in participating.
