Happy New Year
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to make our club the success that it has been in 2016 on and off the field. We look forward to developing our club going into 2017.
No Jackpot Winner. This week’s numbers (Tuesday 10th January) were: 15, 8, 4 & 13. Our 5 lucky dip winners winning £20 each were: Ann Kelly, John Paul McAleer, Shane Dorrity, Ann Woods & Patsy McVeigh. Next week’s jackpot returns to £2050. Next Draw takes place on Tuesday 17th January at 9pm. If you need a lotto seller to call to your home, contact any committee member or alternatively tickets can be purchased in Tally’s Mace or Donnelly’s Post Office. Lotto is an essential source of income for the club & your continued support is greatly appreciated.
Our Club Shop will be closed for the rest of January re-opening in February.
We welcome back our existing members this year and would also encourage new members to come and be part of our club. Only paid up members for 2017 are eligible and insured to use club facilities and train/play for Galbally Pearses. It is important that anyone who intends to play football for our club is registered – if you are not registered you will not be able to play, apply for Gaeltacht Grant or participate in the Scor. Thank you for your continued support & we welcome you to be a part of our GAA community & club. We will be holding a registration evening towards the end of January – more details to follow.

Congratulations to Liam Rafferty, one of our Senior Men who played in the ‘Marathon Match’ 24 hour Gaelic football game in aid of Cancer Focus Northern Ireland and Michaela Foundation on 7th/8th January in Garvaghey Centre – Home of Tyrone GAA. Along with 41 other players from across Ireland he played for 24 hours in order to break the world record for the longest Gaelic football game. Liam has raised money for both charities and has set up his Everyday Hero page. If you are able to donate anything he would appreciate any help you can offer in helping him reach his fundraising target.
