Piarsaigh An Ghallbhaile Notes: Week Beginning 25th Of November 2019

By Francis O'Neill Thu 28th Nov

ULSTER INTERMEDIATE CLUB FINAL 2019
Saturday 30th November 2019. A date that will be ingrained in the memories of all Galbally Gaels as it is the first time our club have been in an Ulster Intermediate Club Final.
Our match will be against Magheracloone, Co Monaghan at 7pm in the Athletic Grounds, Armagh.  Please allow plenty of time as there is a Georgian Day in Armagh so there will be plenty of traffic about.
If you have Snapchat – check out our Snapchat filter that is set up for the occasion.
We will be attending the Christmas in the Community Fair in Galbally Community Centre and we will have face painting during this time in preparation for the match. This will be by donation with all funds going to the Paddington Playgroup.
If you haven’t got yourself a flag or headband – these are available for sale in Tally’s Mace, Galbally.
We are calling on everyone in Galbally to get out and show your support.  These men and our community need this.  The hard work and effort that has been put in by this team & management is something else.
We would encourage as much support to get in early with all their club gear, flags and headbands. This is new territory for many Galbally Gaels and we would encourage as many to make the short journey to show your support.
To the whole panel and management team everyone in Galbally & beyond is behind you.  Whatever happens on Saturday evening we are proud to have followed you every step of this journey.

U13 Boys are through to the League Final
Well done to our U13 boys who are through to the Grade 2 Final after overcoming a strong Kildress side in the semi final on Monday evening.  Final Score: Galbally Pearses 7-13 Kildress Wolfe Tones 5-07
They now face Eglish in the final this Saturday 24th November at 11.30am in Ardboe.
Well done to all 28 boys and their management team of Colm Rafferty, Brian Donaghy, Conor Donaghy, Hugh Quinn & Peter Tally.
Let’s get out and show our support.  We would encourage as much support for these lads who have worked so hard all year.

Scor na nOg – County Final
We will be hosting the final of the Tyrone County Scor na nOg on Sunday 24th November in Galbally Community Centre at 3pm.  If you are able to help on this day please contact any of our committee members.

Youth Presentation Night
We welcome all our Pearse Og’s from U6 to U16 (Boys & Girls) to Galbally Community Centre for our Annual Youth Presentation Night.  We look forward to welcoming all our youth who have played for Galbally Pearses in 2019 along with their parents and who knows what surprises might be in store.

Club Lotto
Our Club Lotto is a valuable income for the weekly running of our club.  If you are able to purchase a ticket or 2 each week will help towards the weekly costs in our club.  This week our lotto numbers were 5 – 11 – 4 – 7.  There was no jackpot winner.  Our 5 Lucky dip winners were Naomi Hunt, Leanna Corrigan, Barry Carberry, Shay McVeigh & Pauric Rafferty.  Our Jackpot next week (Tuesday 26th November) will be £5,150.
