Senior Men
On Sunday 6th of October Galbally beat Pomeroy in the final of the 2019 Tir Eoghain Craobh Peile Idirmheanach to take home the Paddy Cullen Cup on a final score of Galbally 0-18 Pomeroy 1-14.  Congratulations to everyone involved.

Club Shop
Our Club Shop will be open on Friday nights between 7.30pm to 8pm.

Match Day Attire
As our season is underway for a lot of our teams it is important that our players represent our club with pride. We ask that every player comes ready for each match with the correct gear.

Galbally Jersey (U8/10’s only)
Galbally White Crested Shorts
Galbally Blue Club Socks
Gum Shield
Gloves (if required)
Appropriate outerwear
We also have navy shorts (with pockets) available for training
These are available to purchase in our club shop only

Pitch Side Sign Sponsorship
We have a number of spaces available for anyone who is interested in putting up a pitch side sponsorship board.  This is a great way of advertising your business.  Hundreds of people pass through the gates of Galbally Pearses each year.  Just think of the coverage you would get whilst supporting our club.  There are a number that are due for renewal so please contact any committee member if you wish to continue or start.  Your support is greatly valued.

Health & Wellbeing
The health and wellbeing of our members is paramount and therefore we want to ensure that anyone that needs help can access appropriate services.  Please take time to read the documents on the health & wellbeing link.  Please talk to someone if you are feeling anxious or worried.

Additional Support is available from:

  • Lifeline 08088088000 www.lifelineshelpline.info
  • Samaritans – Call 116 123 free from any phone (02890664422) www.samaritans.org
  • Childline – 08001111 www.childline.org.uk

**Important Notice** – Dogs in Pearse Park
Unfortunately we have to reinforce the action of “No Dogs Allowed” within the grounds of Pearse Park. This is due to the health and safety of our players and members as we have received complaints of high levels dog fouling on our pitches & walking track. If you are on our grounds with a dog (on/off a lead please do not be offended when you are asked to leave).

Connect 4 Lotto
This week’s connect 4 lotto numbers were 11 – 1 – 15 – 5 with no jackpot winner.  Our 5 lucky dip winners winning £20 were Charlie McAnenely, John Armstrong, Cara Corr, Catherine McGeary & Jim Hamilton.  Our jackpot now stands at £4550.  Our next lotto draw takes place on Tuesday 3rd September in the committee room at 9pm.
Do you support our club lotto? Have you a lotto seller that calls at your house to sell lotto?  Would you like a lotto seller to call at your house to sell lotto so that you can support the club that supports you and your children or grandchildren?
Would you consider accepting a club lotto book and selling 3-5 lotto tickets each week and having a committee member call weekly to collect your tickets?
The club requires more lotto sellers so if you would be interested in helping the club out with this please contact any committee member.

Our Club – Your Club – One Club

Safety Notice
We would appreciate if everyone could please use the ample parking facilities in the Community Centre car park and beside the GAA Hall when dropping off / collecting their children / attending training matches.  For everyone’s safety we ask that no cars are to be driven down the football pitch side of the Community Centre.  The Health and Safety of all users of our club grounds is paramount.  Galbally Pearses Committee have carefully reviewed the current parking arrangements in place at the club grounds.  Bollards are now in place at the side of the Turnstiles place and are not to be removed.  Only service vehicles are permitted between the main pitch and Community Centre or the low car park adjacent to low pitches.  We ask all users of our club grounds to use the car park in front of the Community Centre and the car park behind the goal posts of the main field.  Please drive carefully at all times around our club grounds taking account pedestrians movements – in particular children.  Finally please park in a considerate manner.  We thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Toilet Block / Ball Store Development
Work is completed on our new development.  This is an added bonus to our existing facilities.  This could not have been possible without the extremely generous support of our member’s voluntary hours and through the support of the Mid Ulster Council Sports Capital Development Grant (Enhancement of Facilities – Building Toilets & Storage Room Award).

Thoughts & Prayers
The club would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to any families in the area who are dealing with bereavement or illness in their family at this time.
