Club na Piarsaigh
Subscriptions are now due for the 2017 year for anyone paying annually.  If you wish to join our scheme this covers your membership for the year.  If you require further information please contact any committee member or email galballypearsespro@hotmail.com for an information pack or download from our website: – www.galballygac.com

Club Shop
Our Club Shop will be open this Friday night from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.

Vetting
We would encourage all our members who are actively involved in our club to complete the Access NI Vetting Form.

Club Wear
As our season is underway for most of our teams it is important that our players represent our club with pride.  We ask that every player comes ready for each match with the correct gear:
Galbally Jersey (U8/10’s only), Galbally White Crested Shorts, Galbally Blue Club Socks, Gloves (if required), appropriate outerwear.  These are available to purchase in our club shop on Friday nights (between 7.30pm & 8.30pm) and during Senior Men matches.

Senior Men
Our Reserves & Seniors begin their league action on Sunday 9th April in Pearse Park against Errigal Ciaran.  Reserves at 2.15pm and Senior at 3.45pm.

Minor Boys
Training continues this Wednesday night at 7.15pm to 8.30pm sharp.  Well done to our Minor Boys on a hard fought win on Monday night in Pearse Park on a final score: Galbally 1-10 Moortown 0-08.

Minor Girls
Training continues this week on Thursday at 7pm.  Next up for our minor girls is their second last league match of 2017 away to Badoney at 6.30pm on Monday 10th April.  Further details to follow.

U14 Boys
Hard luck to our U14 Boys on Friday night against a strong Clonoe side loosing on a scorelone Clonoe 5-09 Galbally 3-09.  Team & Scorers: Padraig Quinn, Mark Tally, Eoghan Carberry, Cormac O’Donnell. Dara Hetherington, Owen Dickson, Ciaran Nugent, Senan Morgan (1-02), James Donnelly (0-02), Conor Kane (0-01) Barry Carberry (2-03), Sean Hughes, Louis Kelly, Joseph Corrigan (0-01), Matthew McCool.  Next up is against Cookstown against home on Saturday 8th April at 1pm.

U14 Girls
Training continues this Wednesday night from 7pm to 8pm.  The next match for our U14 girls is on Next up is Round 4 on Thursday 6th April at 6.30pm away to Coalisland.

U10 Boys
Our U10 Boys (Primary 5 & 6) begins this Thursday evening from 7pm – 8pm.  New & old faces welcome.  Our U10 boys have their first blitz of 2017 this Saturday 8th April in Donaghmore at 10.30am.  They will be in a group with the following clubs:- Donaghmore, Beragh, Loughmacrory, Augher and Clogher.  Further details will be given out at training on Thursday night.

Pearse Og Programme
The last night of our Pearse Og Programme will continue this Thursday night from 7pm to 8pm before moving outside after Easter.

Club Lotto
No Jackpot Winner.  This week’s numbers (Tuesday 4th April) were: 13, 3, 4 & 14.  Our 5 lucky dip winners winning £20 each were: Denis Donaghy, Mary B Nugent, Mary McGee, Paul O’Hagan & Mickey Donnelly (Altmore).  Next week’s jackpot returns to £2650.  Next Draw takes place on Tuesday 11th April at 9pm.  If you need a lotto seller to call to your home, contact any committee member or alternatively tickets can be purchased in Tally’s Mace or Donnelly’s Post Office.  Lotto is an essential source of income for the club & your continued support is greatly appreciated.

Good Luck
Hard luck to the whole of the St Ciaran’s panel on loosing out in the final of the Paddy Drummond Cup Final.  To Cormaic Donnelly, Marc Lennon, Conor Quinn, Caoimhin Quinn, Cathal Kelly & Peadar McCaughey, you represented yourselves, family, club and school in the highest regard and everyone is so proud of you.

Galbally Friends Fund
Galbally Friends Funds has recently been set up as a charity that will serve the Galbally area to provide support to those living with a palliative diagnosis or with complex health needs.  A Spinathon Fundraiser has been organised on 15th April – please contact Paddy on 077 1088 3125 if you are interested in participating.

Friends Of Africa
Three of our club members; Cathal Kelly, Conor Quinn & Bethany Kane are heading to Zambia on the 10th April and are looking for your support.  They are looking for each child to donate one pencil case, a pencil, rubber, sharpener, colouring in pencils and anything else you want.  This is a great cause folks.  Please show your support.  All donations can be left into Galbally Primary School.
