draw-winner1Annual Dinner Dance
On Saturday 19th November we held our much anticipated Annual Dinner Dance and Fundraising Draw.  This was the culmination of a year of hard work on and off the field for our footballers, committee and members.   The night began with a delicious dinner provided by Sean Owens and company and this followed with an overview of the past year from our Club Secretary & Chairman.  Our Guest Speaker Pat Darcy spoke very well on how we have developed as a club over the past years and spoke very well on what the future may hold.

We then went on to present our 1991 Senior Intermediate League Champions & their management team of Benny Haughey, Kieran Brannigan & Pauric Rafferty.

Presentations were then made to our County Representatives; Laura Kane (Tyrone Senior Ladies), Ronan McGeary (Tyrone U21’s) & Daniel Kerr (Tyrone Minors).

Our senior ladies were then presented with their Junior League Medals & Shield with their managers Tony McVeigh & Ronan McGeary.

Sean Hurson then received a special recognition reward for representing our club with great distinction.

Next up was our Annual Club Awards:

Ladies Youth Players of the Year:  Shannon McKeown & Catherine Walker

Kieran & Michael McGeary Memorial Cup (Youth Player of the Year):  Daniel Kerr & Conor Quinn

Terry Kelly Memorial Cup (Reserve Player of the Year):  Enda McAleer

Owen Nugent Memorial Cup (Club Person of the Year):  Sinead McCann

Ladies Senior Player of the Year:  Alicia McGuigan

John Quinn Memorial Cup (Senior Player of the Year): Fearghal McGarrity

That brought to a conclusion to the awards and next up was the eagerly awaited results of our Fundraising Draw.  Over the past 16 weeks many members of our club travelled near and far knocking on doors selling tickets for our draw.  The effort that was made by everyone was outstanding and truly reflected on our final figure raised.
