Do you or your children use our fantastic facilities?  Do you use our walking / running track? Would you be able to help in our fundraising efforts to pay off these brilliant facilities?  We would appreciate if you were able to give up some time to go out with our sellers to help fundraise please contact any of our committee members- even if it’s a few hours a week.  Reminder for all team leaders – returns are to be made every Tuesday night in the committee room at 9pm sharp.

Important Dates
Saturday 19th November – Annual Dinner Dance with Fundraising Draw.  Venue: Galbally Community Centre / Music: The Miracles
Sunday 4th December – Annual AGM

Senior & Reserve Men
After a lengthy break our senior men will be back in action against Edendork at home on Saturday 1st October at 1pm & 2.30pm (to allow for All-Ireland replay).

Senior Ladies
Training continues as normal.  No details of any further matches have been released yet.

U16 Girls
Well done to our U16 girls drawing against Ardboe and winning against Stewartstown last week.  Next up is Moy at home on Thursday night at 6.45pm.  All support welcome.

U13 Boys
Our U13’s are at home to Donaghmore on Friday night at 6.30pm.  All support welcome.

U12 Girls
Training continues as normal this Thursday night from 7pm – 8pm in preparation for the Ulster U12 Blitz on Saturday 1st October in Hilltown.  More details to follow.

U11 Boys
Well done to our U11 boys who made it to the quarter finals of the Emyvale tournament on Saturday.

U10 Boys
Training as normal this Thursday night from 7pm – 8pm.  Our U10 boys have been invited to attend the Killyclogher Tournament on Saturday 24th September.  2 teams have been entered.  All players to be ready to leave Pearse Park at 8.45am sharp.  All players should bring a packed lunch and come with Galbally strip & change of clothes.

U10 Girls
Well done to the U10 girls who attended the Ulster U10 development blitz on Saturday 17th September 2016 in O’Donovan Rossa, Magherafelt.  This is the end of the season for these girls.   Details to follow on our Youth Presentation Night.

U6 & U8 Boys and Girls Training
Training for our U6 & U8’s is over for the year.  We hope that everyone keeps practising what they have learned over the last few months.  A massive thank you to all our coaches who have volunteered and taken time out of their busy schedules to train all the children. Details to follow on our Youth Presentation Night.

Club Lotto
No Jackpot Winner.  This week’s numbers (Tuesday 20th September) were: – 13, 5, 14 & 7.  Our 5 lucky dip winners winning £20 each: – Paul Tierney, Sean Rafferty, Dessie Mullan, Brian Mullin & Darragh Corrigan.  Next week’s jackpot returns to £1,300.  Next Draw takes place on Tuesday 27th September at 9pm.  If you need a lotto seller to call to your home, contact any committee member or alternatively tickets can be purchased in Tally’s Mace or Donnelly’s Post Office.  Lotto is an essential source of income for the club & your continued support is greatly appreciated.

Club Shop
Since our committee are out selling tickets for our Club Fundraiser we will be changing the opening times of the club shop until the end of the draw.  The club shop will now be open on Sunday mornings from 11am – 12noon sharp.

Congratulations
Congratulations and best wishes to our current committee man and club referee Sean Hurson who has been appointed to do linesman at the Dublin v Mayo All-Ireland football final replay.

Thoughts & Prayers
The club would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the families of Stella Quinn (Kerrib).  Our thoughts and prayers are with any families in the area who are dealing with bereavement or illness in their family at this time.
