Path of the Pearses Cycle Sportive

We held our first Annual Cycle Sportive on Sunday 7th August.  A very blustery day with serious head winds near the lough shore saw 100 cyclists take part in our 30 and 60 mile routes before climbing up the hills back into Galbally!

Great support from local football clubs and cycling clubs – very much appreciated as well as our own Path of the Pearses Cyclists!
A special word of thanks to all our volunteers who helped out with the organising, with stewarding, providing shelter at our food stops, donating and providing and serving refreshments, and to everyone who cycled!
