Pearse Park Clean Up
There has been plenty of work going on in Pearse Park over the past few weeks with tidying up, weeding, brushing and power washing so we would like to ask all users of our facilities to try and keep all areas tidy.  If there is any rubbish lying please put it in a bin.  New bollards have been put in place at the lower side of the turnstiles for the safety of all our members.

Senior & Reserve Men
Our Reserve & Senior Men played Greencastle in Pearse Park on Sunday.

Results:

Senior:-      Galbally Pearses 1-8      Greencastle St Patrick’s 2-12

Reserve:-    Galbally Pearses 1-24   Greencastle St Patrick’s 1-8

Next up is Edendork in Pearse Park on Sunday 26th June.

Senior Ladies
On Saturday evening our Senior Ladies travelled to Coalisland to take on Coalisland in round 7 of the league.  Galbally’s tight defensive line as per previous games contributed greatly to both halves.  Up front Maeve McGlinchey and Eimear Tally scoring 3 points each, with Claire McKeown getting the last of the first half scores. The first half was a tight affair with Coalisland scoring a late goal to make it a draw 1-4 til Galbally’s 0-7

Half time : Galbally 0-7 Coalisland 1-4

The Second Half was to be Galbally’s as it continues to be the most effective periods in our games and was to be a repeat performance of that as the defence continue their impeccable play conceding 0-3 in 2nd half. Though the forwards made up for wasted chances in first half with a first attack of the second half by Justina Mulgrew which wasn’t to be her last, contributing to a second 10mins from time with Galbally’s both goals.  Eimear Tally was to get the only point in the second half for the Pearse’s to complete the night! A great team performance, as the Pearse’s ladies continue their unbeaten record.

Final Score:- Galbally Pearse’s 2-8 Coalisland Fianna 1-8
