Club Lotto
We’ve changed it up a wee bit to offer even more winners if our Jackpot isn’t drawn! Now there is a chance of 5 Lucky Winners of Winning £20 each. This week’s numbers (Tuesday 19th April) were: 13, 10, 5 & 16. Our 5 Lucky Dip winners winning £20 each were – Paul Canavan (Ardboe), Hannah Quinn (Ardboe), Dessie Mullan, Sheila Hurson & Peter Quinn (Killyharry). Next week’s jackpot is £3550- if you’re not in you can’t win! Next Draw takes place on Tuesday 26th April @ 9pm. Senior Men
On Sunday 17th April our Senior men continued their ACL League Campaign against Ardboe losing on a score line Galbally 2-04 Ardboe 0-18. Their next fixture us away to Dromore on Sunday 1st May at 3.45pm.

Reserve Men
On Sunday 17th April our Reserves continued their ACL League Campaign against Ardboe losing on a score line Galbally 0-06 Ardboe 2-12. Their next fixture is away to Dromore on Sunday 1st May at 2.15pm.

Senior Ladies
The Senior ladies started their league campaign off at home to Castlederg on Sunday 17th April with the wind at their backs. However, the 1st half produced only two scores from home team with Niamh Donnelly getting the goal and Eimear Tally with the point, An injury to Anna Donnelly early in the game produced a great resolve to get a result.

The Second half produced quality performances all over the field with a finger tip save from Laura Kane, a sure game changer, and the second goal of the day for Niamh Donnelly late at the death completed a successful start to the season.

Minor Boys
Our Minor boys are through to the next round of the Championship after beating Loughmacrory at home on Wednesday 13th April on a scoreline Galbally 1-14 Loughmacrory 1-11. Next Round is at home to our neighbours Killeeshil on Wednesday 27th April.

Minor Ladies
Our Minor Ladies played Round 6 of their League Campaign at home on Tuesday 12th April against Strabane with a great win on a scoreline Galbally 5-13 Strabane 3-05.

Under 14 (Boys)
Our U14 Boys played Derrylaughan on Saturday 16th April in Derrylaughan. Galbally started the game against the breeze with Darragh Kelly getting the first score of the game. Derrylaughan then went up the field and took the lead by getting 1-1. Galbally responded well with Peter Cush and Darragh McCool both getting goals a piece. Darragh McCool was then through again for his second but taken down for a penalty which John Hetherington calmly put away. Last score of game was a Barry Carberry goal which fortunately just dropped below the bar.
Half Time Score: Galbally 4-05 Derrylaughan 1-02.
The second half started and wind was blowing all around the pitch. Derrylaughan started the second half with an early goal bringing them back into the game. The second half was made up of hard defending by Galbally with Derrylaughan scoring just two goals in second half a late free from Darragh Kelly and great point from Senan Morgan secured the boys the win and qualification into the Quarter Finals with one game to be played.
At the moment our U14’s are sitting second in the league table. The last game of the league is on Friday night against Coalisland who are currently sitting top of the table.

Next up is the Grade 2 Feile that will be held on Friday 23rd April in Pearse Park. In this section Galbally will be competing against Stewartstown, Rock & Derrylaughan. The winners of the Grade One& Two will represent Tyrone in the National Feile Competition so we would encourage as many parents and club members to come out and support these lads! For anyone attending these matches, please use the top entrance nearest the cottages for parking.

Under 14 (Girls)
Our U14 Girls are playing Donaghmore in Pearse Park on Thursday night at 6.45pm. All Girls are to be in the changing rooms for 6pm sharp. All support is welcome and for anyone attending this match, please use the top entrance nearest the cottages for parking.

Age Group Changes

Boys
Please take note of the following rule changes regarding ages for U8 / U10 & U12 Boys.
All Boys up to and including P4’s can now play for U8’s
All Boys up to and including P6’s can now play for U10’s
All Boys up in Primary 7 & Year 8 can now play for U12’s
Girls
Please take note of the following rule changes regarding ages for U8 and U10’s:
All girls up to and including P4’s can now play for U8’s
All girls up to and including P6’s can now play for U10’s
For U12 girls football, rules will remain as they previously were with date of birth eg Girls born in 2004 and later are eligible.
Any year 8’s born in 2003 will not be eligible to play u12 girls football

U8 / U10 / U12 Training
This week’s U8 / U10 / U12 training will take place at an earlier time of 6.30pm – 7.30pm sharp! (6.30pm – 7.15pm for any U6’s). Any U6’s attending MUST have a parent accompanying them to training.
This is to allow anyone attending the CannyMan Galbally’s musical time and also to ease traffic congestion / parking so we are asking for all parents / guardians to use the top entrance beside the cottages.
Due to the very high numbers of children attending our Youth Training and to make it enjoyable for all the children we are asking for parents to offer their services during training to stand/ help out at a station& to help with toilet runs. No experience necessary. If you could send a pm to this page to allow our coaches if you are able to help for 1 hour a week.

National League Final
Our U14 Boys and Girls are heading to Croke Park to attend the National League Final in Croke Park on Sunday 24th April along with their managers and mentors. For any child attending we would ask that they wear some Club clothing so that they are identifiable to be representing Piarsaigh an Ghallbhaile. This promises to be a great day for all attending and for many it will be their first time in Croke Park. Safe Trip and Enjoy.  For any of our Club members who have requested Tickets to the finals they will be available to collect in the Club Shop on Friday evening from 7.30pm to 8.30pm only.

Last Man Standing
Week 4 of our LMS and we are down to 136 left in the competition. An updated list is available on Facebook and Twitter to see if you’re still in.
Date for your diaries
We will be holding a talk on Padraig Pearse on Tuesday 3rd May – more details to follow.

Gaeltacht Grant Application
Anyone who is intending to attend the Gaeltacht this summer and wishes to avail of the Gaeltacht Grant, forms are available to download from our website www.galballygac.com. To be eligible for this you must be a member of Galbally Pearses.

Club Shop
During the month of April the club shop will open on the following dates: – Friday 22nd April & Friday 29th April from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.
