Under 14 (Boys)
Our U14’s made the short journey to Rock on Saturday 26th March in the league.  Galbally took an early lead scoring the first couple of scores of the game and were leading 1-04 to 0-00 thanks to a goal that slipped in from John Hetherington and points from Owen Dickson who had a strong 20 minutes. Galbally’s defence worked really hard to keep Rock to 3 points at half time with great defending from Jack McElroy, Owen Dickson & Eoghan Carberry and great marking from Joel Rafferty. A Peter Cush and Padraig Quinn goal left it 3-7 to 0-3 at half time.Rock started bright in second half getting first couple of points. As Rock fought back and Galbally got back into the game with Anton Quinn and Padraig Quinn both scoring goals put us in a comfortable lead.  Rock scored a goal and then was denied by a wonderful Odhran Gillespie save.  At this stage Galbally were well ahead with Barry Carberry adding two more points to his 5 point tally and Darragh Kelly calmly added two frees to his 4 point tally.  A brilliant performance from this young team.
Team & Scorers: Odhran Gillespie, Odhran McNulty, Jack McElroy, Eoghan Carberry, Darragh McCool, Joel Rafferty, Conor McKeown, Senan Morgan, John Hetherington, Conall Quinn, Owen Dickson, Barry Carberry, Dara Hetherington, Darragh Kelly, Peter Cush.  Cormac O’Donnell for Owen Dixon, Conor Tally for Conall Quinn, Anton Quinn for Dara Hetherington.
