Piarsaigh An Ghallbhaile Notes: Week Beginning 6th Of July

Senior Men
Last Friday night our Seniors and Reserves travelled to Moortown for their latest league game.  Both teams came away with great results.  The Seniors had a great performance from all the lads even though there was a few non starters due to injuries.  There was some fine scores with Sean Murphy hitting 1:8, Daniel Kerr 1:2, Liam Rafferty, Eamon McElroy and Paul Rafferty all scoring points.  Congratulations to all the players and management.  Enjoy the two week break.

Ladies
This Friday night our senior ladies are at home to Coalisland at 7:30pm.  All support welcome for the ladies.

Youth
Congratulations to our U8 & U10’s who both won their matches on Saturday.  With the U8’s winning the Loup Shield and the U10’s winning the Camlough Shield, we offer congratulations to all the players and management.
U16’s boys league started on Tuesday night where they were beaten by a strong Ardboe side.  This Thursday they are at home to Dungannon, good luck to all players.
Last week seen the end of our minor boys season when they were beat by Moortown in the league semi final.  Hard luck to all the players, it just wasn’t to be.  Keep the heads up and there will be better days ahead.  Thanks to all management who helped out with the minors.
Gaelic 4 Girls headed off to Croke Park on Monday morning to take part in a Gaelic 4 Girls blitz and also they were given a tour of Croke Park, they had great fun and plenty of memories to keep.

Path of the Pearses
Registration has now closed and we are delighted to have 210 cyclists taking part in the cycle.  Training has been going really well with a lot of groups clocking up over 50+ miles at the weekend past.  We can’t stress enough how important training is, if you have registered and haven’t attended training yet, please make it your priority to attend training this week.  Only 5 weeks training left.
YOUTH CYCLE- SATURDAY 15th AUGUST
With a lot of adults getting involved in the cycle it would only be fair to let the youth of the club have their Path of the Pearses cycle also.
On the 15th August there will be various routes for all ages.  It’s sure to be a great family event.
All children taking part in the cycle will receive: A Path of the Pearses Medal,  A Goodie Bag, Hot Food Refreshments & Bottle of Water
Price: £10 per child or £20 for two or more children from the same family.

Club Shop
The Club shop will be open every Friday 7:30 to 8:30 and during every Home Senior/Reserve Game.

Connect Four Lotto
This weeks connect four lotto numbers: 9, 7, 12, 14.  There was no Jackpot winners, the jackpot now stands at £1,500.  The four lucky dip winners were Gerry Nugent, John Armstrong, Mary McGee and Elaine McKillion.
