Piarsaigh An Ghallbhaile Notes: Week Beginning 8th Of June

Senior Men
Our Senior and reserve men are back in action this weekend after a week’s break after the Championship, this Sunday they are away to Derrylaughan with throw in’s of 2:15pm and 3:45pm. Best of luck to the players and management.  All Support Welcome.

Youth Training
U6, U8 Boy and Girls and U10 training continues on Wednesday from 7pm to 8pm. Hard luck to U12s who were narrowly beaten at home to Fintona in the league on Monday night. This Friday night our Minor boys are at home to Clonoe in the Championship Quarter Final at 7.30pm.  All Support Welcome.

U8s boys have been invited to tournament in Loup (Derry) in the first weekend of July, we will keep you all updated on this closer to the time. U10 girls blitz this Saturday venue to be confirmed.

Well Done to all the Gaelic 4 Girls last Saturday at the Ulster blitz in Lamh Dearg Belfast, they all had a fantastic day. U14 Girls football is now finished for the year, thanks to all the players for all your hard work and training during the season, many thanks to Eimear Tally and Laura Nugent for managing the U14 girls, we hope to see you all back next season with either the U16’s or U14’s.

Path of the Pearses
Well done to some of our cyclists who took part in the Killeeshil Sportive and completing either 65 Miles or 35 Miles, all your hard work and training is starting to pay off.  With just under 10 weeks to go we encourage anyone who hadn’t started training yet to attend the training sessions ASAP.  Closing date to register for the event is Tuesday 16th June – registration will take place in Galbally Community Centre at 8:30pm. All cyclists taking part in the event will receive their own individual specially commissioned Piarsaigh an Ghallbhaile Cycle Jersey.  Anyone who wishes to advertise their company or individual on the cycle jersey is asked to Contact Chairman Kevin Corrigan or Treasurer Michelle McAleer, closing date for all Jersey Sponsorship is Friday 19th June.

Lotto
This week’s Connect four lotto number were 10,14,5,9, there was no Jackpot winners. The Jackpot now stands at £1300. Four lucky dip winners were Rosie Brannigan, Pat McCrory, Una O’Neill and Sean Carberry.
